The Sky Above is a collection of recordings made with my lap steel guitar (with the exception of the track Before You Go which has been recorded with my pawnshop bought bass). They took place during a couple of sessions at my off grid house studio and were done while testing the configuration of some effect pedals during the summer of '23, using as a source of electricity nothing else but solar power.

The album is a melancholic yet encouraging invitation to ponder about what we are as species, who we are collectively and as individuals, what we're looking ahead and where is our hope.
